Los principales indicadores de trata / explotación sexual
Signos o antecedentes de abuso emocional, sexual u otro abuso físico, enfermedades de transmisión sexual
Apariencia inexplicable de regalos caros, ropa u otros artículos costosos
Presencia de un niño / novia mayor
Menor en compañía de un tercero controlador
Falta de conocimiento sobre una determinada comunidad o paradero
Moretones y lesiones, signos de marca / tatuajes
Fugitivo / sin hogar
Mentir sobre la edad, dar una identificación falsa y / o ninguna identificación
Historias bien ensayadas y / o inconsistentes

1 de cada 10 niños son abusados sexualmente. En Selah Freedom, la mayoría de los sobrevivientes informan haber sido abusados sexualmente cuando eran niños.
Muchos de los sobrevivientes en Selah Freedom informan que hubo abusos sexuales entre los 2 y 4 años de edad.
Se venden 2 millones de niños cada año a través del tráfico sexual
El tráfico sexual de niños ha sido reportado en los 50 estados.

Same Gender, Different Story - This movie shares the story of a teen boy and how he was trafficked. It also shows how staff suspected something was going on but because of the stereotype “Boys Will Be Boys,” many signs were looked past.
